Weddings – love is in the detail

Gold Coast celebrant

How exciting and congratulations to you both!

Wedding Celebrant Gold CoastThe decision to marry is one of the most important you’ll ever make, firstly, as the unique individuals you are today, and secondly, as the couple you will soon become…

Your journey is just beginning. It may seem the next steps are all very confusing. Relax! My responsibility is to handle all the necessary marriage legalities and create the words to express your love to ensure your wedding ceremony is everything you could ever dream of… A day you’ll both remember for the rest of your lives.  Your wedding will be truly wonderful

Your Ceremony – “The Main Event”

Planning a wedding is an enormous task. There is the wedding gown, formal wear, bridal portraits and pictures, not to mention flowers, catering, cakes, reception, music, invitations and, of course, the chapel or venue rental. It is almost possible to overlook what I call "the main event" – the wedding ceremony itself, the part you and your guests will remember.

As you spend time, energy and money in preparing for your wedding, keep in mind the words spoken at your ceremony are, indeed, the main event, and should be an expression of your unique relationship. It is my responsibility to create the words that will become uniquely "yours", so your ceremony will truly be a ceremony to remember.

The difference between a civil wedding and a church wedding

It’s all about choices - a civil marriage celebrant offers a non-secular (i.e. non-religious) ceremony; the wording of the ceremony is written, in consultation with you and reflects

The ceremony location also becomes your choice (i.e. on the beach, in a beautiful park or reserve, or any venue that holds a special place in your heart).  I am happy to travel to your Gold Coast wedding venue including Tamborine Mountain and all Gold Coast beaches, parks and suburbs for ceremonies.

Everything about your ceremony becomes your choice!

Although not a minister/reverend, nor follower of any specific religion, I am more than comfortable, if you choose, to include a “blessing” and any religious readings or prayers you may wish within the content of your ceremony.

What is the next step?

Meet your celebrant

Our first meeting is completely obligation free where we can discuss the details of your ceremony and a time for you to determine if I’m the celebrant for you.  Everything about your ceremony is ultimately your decision, including your celebrant.  Enquire or make an appointment..
